The 2026 editions of Taipei AMPA, E-Mobility Taiwan, and Autotronics Taipei concluded successfully on April 17 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The four-day event focused on the future of mobility, highlighting advancements in electric vehicle (EV) technologies, smart cockpit systems, and next-generation automotive components.

To strengthen collaboration and foster technical dialogues across the automotive value chain, AMPA 2026 hosted the 360° MOBILITY Forum on April 15. The forum invited speakers from the United States, Canada, and Taiwan to discuss evolving geopolitical constraints, regulatory frameworks, and synergetic relationships, transcending commodity suppliers into long-term value chain partners.

Discussions covered a range of topics, including North American policy developments and AI-powered implementation. A key theme was the emergence of outcome-based procurement models, in which buyers increasingly prioritize performance outcomes and technological value over traditional metrics of meeting delivery specifications alone. Greater emphasis is also being placed on supply chain transparency, technology origin, and security compliance.

Anchored in global regulatory trends, technology innovation, and the need to build trust across supply chains, the forum outlined a pathway for companies navigating industry disruption. Speakers further highlighted how Taiwan’s technological strengths can translate into tangible operational advantages, positioning local firms to capture new opportunities in the evolving global mobility ecosystem.
